E-commerce Manager

Based in Islington, North London, we are looking for an experienced e-commerce professional to join the team to develop and grow our e-commerce business. You will work together with the marketing team to deliver sustainable growth in all online activity whilst raising the brand awareness and meeting commercial targets for sales, subscriptions and conversion rates.

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Manage the day-to-day e-commerce operations, recommend and implement platform updates
  • Ensure website is visually and commercially optimised to drive income and deliver the best possible online customer experience
  • Provide high quality customer experience to all enquiries during the buying process; effective, fast and solution-focused responses
  • Plan the investment required, manage the budget to show an effective ROI
  • Work together with the Marketing Manager to produce and implement digital marketing campaigns and email marketing plans to help drive online sales
  • Analyse Social Media campaigns to optimise and improve ROI
  • Develop brand and product awareness online
  • Develop a robust acquisition and retention program, tracking consumer behaviour and CRM content management
  • Develop clear loyalty and retention mechanics to increase subscriber base
  • Maintain website including copy writing, updates and technical opportunity developments
  • Regularly analyse performance of website pages
  • Ensure that the site is fully accessible and complies with the latest standards of accessibility
  • Attend weekly meetings to report on all online activity (sales performance, best sellers, and purchasing behaviour) including recommendations for improved performance and to inform strategic business decision-making
  • Experience with Shopify essential, Recharge/Mailchimp desirable
