UK Coffee Week (19th-25th October)
We’re getting behind UK Coffee Week (19th-25th October) and celebrating all things coffee while raising funds to give back to the people behind our daily cuppa.
100% of funds raised go to Project Waterfall, a charity helping to bring clean water, sanitation and education to thousands of coffee-growing communities across the world.
There are loads of ways you can get involved and help us support:
- buy a bag of our Market Blend or Special BRÜ coffee and we’ll donate £1 from every bag sold
- enter the UK Coffee Week raffle (including an amazing prize from us – up to 10 chances to win a year long coffee subscription worth £400 each!)
- follow UK Coffee Week on Instagram for competitions and exclusive masterclasses for coffee lovers – including one from us about 'why we roast' where we have Gabby & Andrea chatting about coffee roasting – why it’s so important, the different stages of roasting and how the roast affects flavour.
WHAT IS PROJECT WATERFALL
Project Waterfall works to bring clean water, sanitation and education to coffee-growing communities across the world.
785 million people around the world don’t have access to clean water. The majority live in isolated, rural areas – the same areas growing our coffee.
100% of funds raised during this year's UK Coffee Week will support Project Waterfall’s ongoing work in the rural Jabi Tehnan district of Ethiopia. This project, which began in 2018 in partnership with WaterAid, will change the lives of over 10,000 people. Read about their four-year project and what the funds raised during UK Coffee Week are achieving here.
